Description

#2010 Colorado Springs Urban Renewal – What Have We Lost?

Instructor:  Judy Casey

Colorado Springs has experienced many changes over the last 150 years, as it has grown to the 39th largest city in the United States.  The urban renewal of the 1970s and 80s changed the look of the city, as historic buildings were razed.  Many historic buildings were lost, but through the efforts of local residents many were saved.  Join us as we see which historic buildings we have lost, which we have kept, and which we’ve repurposed in Colorado Springs.
